01 — No working village station
Name the real rail interchange outside Cranleigh
Waverley Borough Council’s conservation appraisal records that Cranleigh’s railway closed in 1965. It also identifies the old platform behind Stocklund Square as no longer in use. A chauffeur request should therefore never use ‘Cranleigh station’ as if it were a current passenger pickup. For a rail-connected journey, provide the actual operating station, train and expected arrival together with the Cranleigh door. The representative point on this page is on the High Street; it describes the village for route comparison and does not invent a rail terminal.
Cranleigh Parish Council describes the Village Hall as occupying a prominent High Street site. Cranleigh Arts publishes a different address at 1 High Street, GU6 8AS, at the east end of the street. The event name and venue must appear together because ‘High Street, Cranleigh’ does not choose between them. Add the performance, meeting or organiser time and the public arrival instruction supplied for that event. For a later collection, provide the expected finish and active passenger contact so the return remains linked to the same named venue.

03 — Horseshoe Lane
Choose the Senior or Prep School address explicitly
Cranleigh School lists both sites on Horseshoe Lane but gives the Senior School postcode as GU6 8QQ and the Prep School postcode as GU6 8QH. A school journey should carry the relevant school name, postcode and host or visit instruction; the shared road name alone is not enough. State every passenger and case at booking, particularly for airport departures or term travel. FCET selects the vehicle from the declared party and luggage and confirms the collection supplied by the customer, without assuming that one campus instruction applies to the other.
The displayed Heathrow and Gatwick routes start from a representative Cranleigh High Street coordinate. They show the scale of each airport journey. A home outside the centre, Horseshoe Lane or an event venue will have its own local section and is scheduled from its complete address. For departures, send the flight, terminal and target arrival inside the airport. An inbound transfer needs the flight number, passenger mobile, luggage and final Cranleigh address. If a working rail station is another leg, name it separately rather than folding it into the village label.

05 — Cranleigh collections
Village venues and school sites need exact addresses
Cranleigh Arts, the Village Hall and Cranleigh School are separate destinations. Confirm the event venue or school site; Cranleigh has no working railway station.
06 — Guildford and London
Build the onward city leg around the fixed appointment
Cranleigh travel may connect a home or venue with Guildford, a London office, an airport or a mainline station. Put the non-movable train or appointment first, then list the remaining addresses in travel order with their required arrivals. FCET can assess a direct transfer, return or retained itinerary from that sequence. Several Cranleigh collections should identify who boards at each property, because the representative map point cannot describe a multi-address departure.
The completed brief should include the date, pickup time, full Cranleigh origin, full destination, required arrival, passenger contact, party size and luggage. Add the Village Hall, Cranleigh Arts, Senior School or Prep School identity when one of those sites is involved. For rail travel, check that the confirmation names an operating station outside the village and the relevant train. For air travel, check the passenger terminal. Those local choices make the page practical without treating a historic platform as a present-day service.
