Illustrative engineering exhibition hall inspired by Advanced Engineering UK at the NEC

4–5 November 2026

Chauffeur travel for Advanced Engineering UK 2026

An engineering and manufacturing itinerary for technical leaders, design teams, buyers, speakers, suppliers and exhibitors at the NEC.

01 — Current edition

Use the November 2026 engineering edition

Advanced Engineering takes place at the NEC Birmingham on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 November 2026. Its official site describes a two-day event where engineering and manufacturing professionals do business, share knowledge and address technical work across their sectors. FCET records the selected day and first fixed commitment. A supplier meeting, technical session, demonstration, speaking call or exhibitor responsibility provides the requested arrival target.

Design, manufacturing, quality, procurement, research and technical leadership teams may follow different programmes. Each vehicle instruction names its passengers, collection addresses, first engagement and authorised contact. Colleagues share when their hotel departure and first commitment align. Separate cars allow a speaker, buyer or specialist team to retain an earlier arrival or independent onward meeting.

02 — Service on the day

Technical teams keep named responsibilities

Each vehicle retains its engineering or manufacturing group, first Advanced Engineering commitment and complete onward address, allowing different disciplines to follow separate schedules.

03 — Intent boundary

Separate engineering from construction shows

Advanced Engineering centres engineering and manufacturing business, knowledge and technical solutions. UK Construction Week Birmingham covers the wider construction supply chain, while Digital Construction Week focuses digital processes in the built environment. The booking preserves the exact event identity. A factory, supplier office, research site or dinner after the NEC becomes a separate movement with a complete address and time. It is not inferred from a delegate's discipline.

Laptop bags, drawings, compact prototypes, demonstration devices and hotel luggage are declared with the passengers. Capacity follows the fullest confirmed sector, including anything collected during the show. Machinery, batteries, large prototypes, tools, display structures and freight require separate assessment. Passenger vehicles are not assumed to provide specialist technical transport.

04 — After the event

The collection sequence at NEC Birmingham

  1. Current ticket and event directions identify the usable public approach.
  2. The chauffeur confirms a public reference with the lead passenger.
  3. The party boards only after a lawful position is confirmed.

06 — NEC halls

Treat the NEC halls as event information

The organiser lists the NEC Birmingham, Halls 3 and 3a, and the NEC publishes postcode B40 1NT. Hall names help identify the event but do not establish a vehicle entrance, set-down entitlement, waiting place or collection permission. FCET agrees a practical public-road reference for the booked time. The return keeps an intended window, lead passenger and complete onward address, with the usable reference confirmed before the party leaves its final commitment.

Before travel, FCET checks the 4–5 November 2026 edition, selected day, passenger names, collections, technical commitments, declared items and onward destinations. Confirmed changes come through the authorised contact. Advanced Engineering and the NEC govern registration, programme delivery and venue operations. FCET manages the passenger movements and sectors it confirms.
