Leading runners at the London Marathon in 2024

24–25 April 2027

Chauffeur travel for the 2027 TCS London Marathon

A multi-location London plan for one confirmed marathon day, built from the participant's start information or the spectator's exact destination without promising access to closed roads.

The service standard

One TCS London Marathon itinerary keeps each confirmed address, lead passenger and onward movement together.

01 — A one-off two-day edition

Start with the runner's confirmed marathon day

London Marathon Events lists the 2027 TCS London Marathon on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 April. The organiser describes this as a one-off two-day edition, and says the same route will be used on both days. A participant attends only the day allocated through their entry. FCET records that precise day, the runner's issued arrival information, passenger contact and post-event destination. A spectator booking separately identifies which part of the programme they need to reach, because the event name by itself does not define one car destination.

The official event overview gives the Start Line as Greenwich and Blackheath, while the course information says runners use three start lines before joining the common route. FCET keeps the participant's issued assembly and arrival information. The car serves a confirmed public road address outside the controlled event area. The participant allows for the walk and organiser process that follows, carrying their own entry information and essentials after leaving the vehicle.

03 — A route across London

Keep spectator travel address-specific

The organiser describes the course from south-east London through Greenwich, the Docklands and central London to The Mall. Its spectator guidance warns that road closures apply and identifies several busy viewing areas, so a supporter itinerary must name the intended public address or hospitality destination. Several viewing stops do not form a casual driving circuit. For more than one spectator movement, FCET assesses each address and time against the roads available; walking or public transport remains separate from the car instruction.

The outward vehicle can carry the declared passengers, outerwear, runner bag and hotel luggage to the confirmed public destination. Anything retained by a companion, sent to a hotel or needed after the finish should be assigned before the car leaves its first collection. First Class may suit a runner and companion, while XL can suit a family group or a larger luggage load. The vehicle follows the fullest booked sector; an empty seat at the start does not prove the return load will fit.

04 — Service on the day

One runner or spectator itinerary can have several addresses

The car plan separates the participant's allocated start journey, any spectator movement and the post-event destination, using confirmed public road addresses outside the controlled course.

07 — Beyond the finish

Do not confuse pedestrian reunion with car collection

The official spectator guide identifies a Meet and Greet area around Horse Guards for people reconnecting after the finish. That is a pedestrian reunion arrangement, not evidence that a chauffeur may stop there or reach the finish roads. FCET instead records a later public address that can lawfully be reached, the lead passenger and a readiness message. The runner or group reaches that agreed reference under the event's current crowd and road directions before the onward car journey begins.

A runner collection, spectator visit and hotel return can belong to one booking while remaining distinct movements. Each sector has an address, passenger assignment and intended time, and no section of the closed marathon course is presented as normal road access. The confirmed itinerary also records any station, airport or evening commitment after the event. Journey cost follows those agreed car movements; a revised marathon instruction is handled through the named passenger before the affected sector starts.
