01 — Why Terminal 5 matters

Use the terminal named for the flight

This guide is for a Bracknell journey confirmed for Heathrow Terminal 5. Unlike the airport-wide Bracknell to Heathrow taxi route, its endpoint, final approach and handover are terminal-specific. The booking records the airline, flight, date, required arrival and complete collection address. If the airline changes the terminal, the itinerary changes too; current airline instructions still govern check-in and baggage acceptance.

02 — From Bracknell

Use the full collection address

Bracknell station identifies the starting town, but is not a prescribed vehicle collection point. The booking records the exact address, flight, passenger party and luggage before fixing the Terminal 5 arrival. The dated station view is not current train or access guidance.

03 — How the journey runs

Four details in the journey plan

  1. Step 1Detail 1Addresses and dateFCET records the complete starting address and date.
  2. Step 2Detail 2Required arrivalThe booking records the required arrival and destination.
  3. Step 3Detail 3Party and luggagePassenger and luggage totals shape the vehicle choice.
  4. Step 4Detail 4Separate returnAny return has its own date, contact and destination.

04 — At departures

The forecourt is a set-down, not a waiting place

Heathrow's current guidance places the Terminal 5 departures drop-off on Wayfarer Road, where the ramp divides into two lanes. The chauffeur follows the signs in force, unloads the declared cases and completes the handover; pickup and waiting are not permitted there. The displayed distance and weekday-morning time are planning figures for the stored endpoints, not promises for every address or date. FCET considers extra stops, loading time, current conditions, passengers, bags, mobility items and child-seat requirements before confirming the plan.

07 — For an arriving flight

Plan the return as a separate Terminal 5 movement

A return has its own inbound flight, contact, luggage and Bracknell destination. Flight tracking supports timing, but landing is not the same as reaching public arrivals, so the booking identifies an agreed name-board point. Heathrow directs pickup away from departures: Terminal Parking, formerly Short Stay, is adjacent to Terminal 5 and connects by covered walkways. The chauffeur uses the permitted arrivals process without promising a forecourt pickup, reserved bay or waiting right.
