01 — Festival status
Use the next confirmed programme, not the concluded dates
London Design Festival's official site says its 24th edition took place from 12 to 20 September 2026. It has not yet published the next edition dates. The 2026 programme contained more than 350 events across London and named 11 Design Districts, showing why the festival title cannot identify a single chauffeur destination. FCET builds the travel record from the visitor's selected programme entries. Each installation, exhibition, talk or reception carries its own published address and commitment time. A district name remains useful context, while the individual venue remains the destination used for that movement.
A day may concentrate on one Design District or continue across several parts of London. The itinerary can place nearby visits in sequence, but every stop retains its full address, intended arrival and passenger group so a neighbourhood label never becomes an invented festival entrance. Longer cross-city movements need a realistic gap between commitments. FCET records the first fixed session, works backwards to the collection, and keeps later stops visible as separate sectors. The result is a usable movement plan even when the published programme spans galleries, studios, institutions and temporary installations.

03 — A distinct event
Keep London Design Festival separate from Clerkenwell Design Week
The concluded 2026 London Design Festival was a city-wide September programme. Clerkenwell Design Week is a separate May event focused on exhibition venues and showrooms within the Clerkenwell district. A future booking names the correct event, confirmed edition and programme item so the two design calendars cannot be confused. If a London Design Festival visit includes an EC1 address, that location is still recorded from the confirmed London Design Festival programme. A familiar district or showroom does not transfer dates, registration terms or venue directions from another event into this journey.
Designers, clients, press and guests may share an opening before their schedules divide. Each car receives the people it carries, its next complete address and an authorised contact. A revision for one party can then be applied without changing another vehicle's established route. Airport, station and hotel travel remains part of the same overview but keeps its own movement record. Cases, presentation material, samples and personal bags are declared with the passengers using that sector, allowing vehicle choice to reflect the fullest planned load of the day.

05 — Service on the day
Each programme address keeps its own movement
The itinerary records the chosen installation, talk or district stop with its published address and time, then keeps any hotel, dinner or second programme venue as a separate London movement.
06 — Between programme stops
Agree a meeting reference for each address
For each programme address, the chauffeur and lead passenger confirm a practical public-road meeting reference for the booked time, together with the final walking direction to the venue. The return reference is checked before the group leaves the car. If current road conditions change what is practical, the lead passenger receives the revised reference before collection.
FCET checks the confirmed edition dates, selected programme entries, complete addresses, passenger assignments, carried items and onward destinations. A new invitation or changed appointment is added only after its address, time and effect on the existing sequence are clear. Journey cost follows the agreed vehicles and movements. Admission, reservations, programme operation and access-controlled spaces remain governed by London Design Festival and the host of each listed event, while FCET manages the confirmed passenger travel between the supplied addresses.
