A conditional guarding-profession itinerary for a PSO Live commitment confirmed by the attendee or organiser at the NEC.

The service standard

One Professional Security Officer Live itinerary keeps each confirmed address, lead passenger and onward movement together.

01 — Current host event

Confirm PSO Live within the April 2027 visit

The current official page header lists The Security Event at NEC Birmingham from Tuesday 27 to Thursday 29 April 2027. Its PSO Live navigation and loaded theatre programme sit under a 2026 Theatre Overview and show 28–30 April 2026, so they do not confirm a 2027 PSO Live agenda. If the attendee or organiser confirms a PSO Live commitment within the 2027 visit, FCET records the selected host-event day and first fixed responsibility. A confirmed speaker call, employer meeting, training session or professional briefing supplies the useful arrival target.

Front-line officers, guarding providers, operations leaders and professional bodies can arrive with different responsibilities. Each vehicle record identifies its passengers, collection addresses, first commitment and one contact authorised to approve a confirmed change. Shared travel works when the opening commitments genuinely align. A separate car can protect a speaker call or employer meeting while another group follows its own professional-development schedule, without turning every attendee into one generic security party.

03 — Intent boundary

Do not substitute a security-technology exhibition

The saved 2026 theatre overview describes Professional Security Officer Live as an officer and guarding-profession conference. The Security Event is the current named commercial-security host event, while The Workplace Event follows facilities, property and workplace teams. The booking keeps the officer-focused event name beside the passenger's first commitment. A later supplier stand, co-located show, client office or dinner is recorded as its own movement with a complete address and agreed time.

Work bags, uniforms, presentation material, compact demonstration items and hotel luggage are declared before vehicle assignment. Capacity follows the fullest planned passenger sector, including material carried away after a session or meeting. Protective equipment, controlled items, tools, large displays and freight require separate assessment. Attendance at a security event does not itself establish that undeclared operational equipment can travel in a passenger vehicle.

04 — Service on the day

Officer commitments remain individually accountable

Each movement keeps its officer, employer, speaker or training group with the first Professional Security Officer Live responsibility and complete onward address.

07 — NEC destination

Use the venue without inventing a handover point

The official event page names NEC Birmingham, and the venue publishes Birmingham B40 1NT. That destination does not identify a particular entrance, stopping entitlement, priority route or waiting position for this event. FCET confirms a practical lawful public-road reference for the booked time. The return instruction keeps an intended window, lead passenger and onward address, while current organiser and venue directions govern movement on the campus.

Before travel, FCET checks the confirmed host-event day, named PSO Live commitment, passenger names, collections, first responsibilities, declared items and onward destinations. Confirmed changes come through the authorised contact rather than an assumed shared series timetable. The Security Event, any confirmed PSO Live organiser and the NEC control admission, programme content and venue operation. FCET remains responsible for the passenger movements, vehicles and addressed sectors it confirms.
