Use the April 2027 edition
Retail Technology Show's official current FAQ lists the event at Excel London on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 April 2027. It gives One Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Dock, London E16 1XL as the venue address; the official home page says the show brings retailers and technology innovators together. FCET records the chosen day and the traveller's first fixed responsibility. A buyer meeting, supplier demonstration, speaking call or stand briefing provides a useful arrival target; eligibility and registration remain with the organiser.
Retailers, brand teams and technology providers can build the day around product categories, demonstrations and scheduled conversations. Each vehicle record names the passengers, first engagement and authorised contact rather than treating the exhibition as one undifferentiated visit. Teams can share when their hotel departure and first meeting align. If a speaker or exhibitor reports earlier than a retail buyer, separate vehicles let each schedule remain intact without adding unnecessary waiting to the other group.

03 — A trade event, not shopping travel
Separate the show from retail visits and broad business advice
Retail Technology Show is a trade exhibition about technology used by retailers. It is distinct from a chauffeur shopping itinerary, which follows stores and purchases, and from The Business Show London, whose programme addresses starting and growing businesses more broadly. The exact event title remains beside the Excel destination. A store visit, headquarters meeting, dinner or airport transfer after the show receives its own full address and sector, preserving the purpose of each movement.
Work bags, demonstration devices, small samples and hotel luggage are declared before vehicle assignment. The return can carry more than the outward journey when the team leaves with materials, so capacity follows the fullest planned sector. Large display structures, freight and specialist equipment require separate assessment. Shopping bags from an added retail visit are included only when that stop and the resulting load are confirmed in advance.

06 — Excel public handover
Keep venue information and road access separate
FCET uses the public One Western Gateway address and booked time to check a practical lawful public-road reference. The passenger retains current show information for registration, the specified hall entrance and the final indoor walk. The return instruction names one lead passenger, an intended window and the next complete address. The chauffeur confirms the usable public reference before the group leaves its last appointment; no event entrance is treated as a guaranteed vehicle position.
FCET checks the 21–22 April 2027 edition, selected day, named passengers, collections, first meetings, declared items and onward destinations. A revised demonstration or meeting enters the plan through the authorised contact with a complete time and address. Journey cost follows the confirmed cars and sectors. Retail Technology Show and Excel London govern trade admission, event content and venue operation; FCET manages the passenger travel it agrees.
